Following a few months of planning I have finally been able to create the site http://haem2.net that I had envisaged might help with keeping up-to-date in all things haematological.
After seeing an entirely handmade effort by a friend at http://ophthalmics.co.uk I had for some time been searching for a more automated solution to this problem, in the form of an online content management system which would enable to me to create a smart but readable blog alongside dynamic feeds from the major journals or other sources related to haematology.
In particular the target audience is specialist trainees and consultants in haematology and additionally basic scientists involved in preclinical research, which in some cases of course may be both. Currently in its earliest iteration I hope to develop the site further and add content regularly, although I hope the feeds already present will speak for themselves. DB
